This policy covers burghertime.com, its sub-sites, and the small personal apps Tim Burgher builds for his own household.

home-energy

home-energy is a personal, non-commercial app that Tim Burgher runs for his own home. It is not offered to the public.

• What it accesses: with the account owner's permission through Google's Device Access program, it reads status from the owner's own Google Nest thermostat: temperature, humidity, heating mode, target temperature, and whether heating is running. It does not change thermostat settings.
• How the data is used: only to chart the household's own heating and energy use on a dashboard inside the home network.
• Where it's stored: on the owner's own computers at home. It is not uploaded to any other service, sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
• Revoking access: access can be removed at any time from the Google Account's third-party connections page or the Google Home app, after which no further data is read.

home-energy's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies or personal profiles.
• No ads, accounts, sign-ups, or forms collect personal information on this site.
